Fueling Egypt's Future: A Cement Company's Vision
In the heart of Beni Suef, a prominent Egyptian joint-stock company was established on October 31, 2018, under the provisions of Law No. 159 of 1981 and Investment Law No. 72 of 2017. With a majority shareholding by the National Service Projects Organization, alongside Al-Arish Cement Company and Al-Nasr Company for Services and Maintenance, this venture was created with a clear vision: to secure Egypt’s strategic cement needs. Its inception directly supports the nation’s recent urban renaissance, fueling the expansive housing, reconstruction, and infrastructure projects transforming the country. Furthermore, this initiative has been instrumental in generating thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities for the residents of Upper Egypt, significantly contributing to regional development.
This enterprise is dedicated to fostering a balanced cement market, ensuring fair pricing and equitable profits for existing cement factories and investments within the sector. Looking beyond national borders, the company aims to open new horizons for Egyptian cement and clinker products. It aspires to reach markets across Africa, neighboring Arab nations, and indeed, the entire globe. This outward vision stems from a deep-seated belief in contributing to the reconstruction and development of sister nations and allies, leveraging the fact that Egyptian cement products are recognized among the best worldwide.
